Follicular-unit openings are made by Dr. Konior under magnification using a special
micro-blade instrument. The angle he makes for the openings reflects the desired
future direction that the hair will grow. The doctor's technical and artistic abilities
come to play as he must position and angle the follicles to match the patient's natural
hair in order to produce a perfectly natural complement. Because the follicles are so tiny
and delicate, and because the openings require the proper angle to look natural,
we have found that magnification is essential to assure a seamless integration of the
new follicular-units between the patient's pre-existing hair follicles.
